Helping local businesses expand and create new jobs since 1969

The LIBDC helps its members form close associations and business relationships while providing a platform for an honest evaluation of Long Island’s economic future, and the steps we must take to keep it strong.

Welcome.

The Long Island Business Development Council has been a moving force behind Long Island’s economic development for more than five decades, helping local businesses expand and create new jobs while also attracting new firms to the region.

Our members include bankers, real estate brokers, builders, developers and utilities, as well as leaders from universities, law firms, accountants, engineering firms and many others. The council also includes prominent government officials from New York State, Nassau and Suffolk counties, and county, town and village Industrial Development and Economic Development agencies.

Come grow with us.
